A Prophecy Against America
The word of the Lord came to me, saying:
Son of man, set your face against America and declare to her the abominations she has committed. Say to her:
Thus says the Lord God:
In the beginning, you were nothing. A scattered people, a fledgling colony, a wilderness. You were weak, poor, despised among the nations. No king ruled you, no empire claimed you. You were like a child abandoned at birth, left to die in the open field, unwashed and unloved.
But I saw you, and I had mercy on you. I said to you, "Live!" And you lived. I clothed you in freedom and covered your nakedness with justice. I gave you wisdom to know the ways of men, and I placed in your heart the fire of liberty. You became great among the nations, a land of promise, a refuge for the weary. Your name was honored across the earth, for My hand was upon you.
I gave you abundance—fields overflowing with grain, rivers teeming with fish, mountains rich with gold. I filled your storehouses and strengthened your arms. Kings envied you, nations trembled before you. You were adorned with knowledge, clothed in righteousness, and crowned with truth.
But you grew proud. You said in your heart, "My strength has made me great. My wisdom has built this house." You took the blessings I gave you and turned them into idols. You worshiped your wealth, your power, your armies. You made covenants with the wicked and called it diplomacy. You sold the poor for profit, the weak for convenience. You built your economy on deception, on false weights and measures, on paper and promises. You sacrificed your children on the altars of greed and pleasure.
Israel played the harlot, but her whoredom was among her neighbors. She polluted her own house, but you—you have defiled the whole earth. You have led the nations astray with your abominations. You have filled the world with your idols, your lies, your corruption. You have taken dominion over the knowledge of men, hoarded wisdom, shaped minds, and bent truth to serve your desires.
What Israel did was a family squabble; what you have done is the ruin of nations.
I made you great to humble Israel, to make her jealous, to call her back to Me. But you have become worse than she ever was. Your rebellion surpasses hers in both scale and arrogance. You have not only abandoned My ways, you have declared war against them. You call good evil and evil good. You twist justice to favor the wicked. You mock righteousness and exalt depravity. You remove the innocent from the land, but give honor to the guilty. You devour the weak and pretend to be their savior.
You parade your shame before the nations and call it virtue. You corrupt your children and call it wisdom. You mutilate your bodies and call it freedom. You boast that you have no king but yourself, that you are the master of your own fate. You have cast My name from your lips, rewritten My word to fit your desires, and declared in your heart, "There is no God but power."
Therefore, O America, hear the word of the Lord:
Because you have done this—because you have turned My gifts into weapons and My blessings into a curse—your judgment is at hand.
I will break your economy as a man shatters a clay pot. You trusted in your wealth, but it will vanish in a day. Your markets will collapse, your banks will fail, your riches will rot.
I will turn your cities into battlegrounds. Your streets will be filled with violence, your strongholds will crumble, your rulers will be divided against themselves. You will seek safety and find none.
I will expose your leaders for what they are—wolves, liars, thieves. They will devour you as you have devoured others. The people you have oppressed will rise up against you. The nations you have corrupted will turn on you. Your allies will abandon you, and your enemies will rejoice at your fall.
You will cry out to your idols, but they will not save you. You will call upon your wisdom, but it will fail you. You will seek peace, but you will not find it.
Then you will remember Me. Then you will know that I am the Lord.
Yet even now, if you will turn, if you will repent, if you will cast down your idols and humble yourselves before Me, I will show mercy. I do not desire your destruction—I desire your return.
But you must choose. Will you turn from your wickedness, or will you perish in it?
The Lord has spoken.
