Statement of Intentions - Letter to Sheriff Norton on Peaceful Non-Compliance
Introduction: Why I Choose Peaceful Non-Compliance
My approach to this situation is deliberate. I have chosen to be peaceful and non-compliant because it is the only way to expose the truth and prevent those in power from justifying their unjust actions. Violence would allow them to paint me as a threat, claiming they are protecting lives. Compliance would let them say I acted willingly, absolving them of responsibility. Neither of these responses holds them accountable or reveals the injustice for what it truly is.
By standing firm in peaceful non-compliance, I leave no room for excuses. If they act against me, they must break down my door, point their weapons, and issue commands under duress. Their actions will fully expose the force, intimidation, and injustice they employ, leaving the consequences and accountability squarely on them. This approach forces them to face the truth—that their authority relies on coercion, not righteousness. And they will pay for that, whether through the judgment of public opinion, legal consequences, or the moral weight of their own actions.
This letter is an extension of that approach. It makes clear my boundaries, my intentions, and my commitment to truth and justice. I will not fight them with violence or submit to their oppression, but I will stand in the light of truth, knowing that peace and dignity are stronger than any weapon.

Dear Sheriff Tim Norton,
I am writing to you not in anger or defiance, but in a spirit of truth and respect, to clarify my intentions, acknowledge past words spoken in frustration, and establish my boundaries regarding the events on my property.
First, I want to recognize that the words I said on Saturday were spoken in anger. I regret the tone I used and have taken to heart your suggestion that my words could be interpreted as intending violence. I want to make it absolutely clear that this is not the case. Unlike what has been suggested by the banking interests or others, including Theresa Slade, I am a peaceful man. I strongly oppose tyranny and fraud in all their forms, and for that reason, I do not wish for anyone to get hurt—myself included.
However, the actions taken by the Elbert County Sheriff’s Department on January 11, 2025, were deeply wrong. To come onto my property with a military-grade MRAP, armed and prepared for confrontation, was a gross misuse of power and a betrayal of the trust citizens should have in their law enforcement. Such actions go beyond the scope of law enforcement into intimidation. Should you or your department return in the same manner on January 20, it will also be wrong, and I will not excuse any unjust orders that are followed in this process.
As such, I want to make my position clear. As a representative of the Sheriff’s Department acting under the authority of your badge, you are not welcome on my property. However, as Tim Norton, a fellow man with people you love and a desire to live a meaningful life, you are welcome—provided you come without an agenda or the threat of force.
The doors to my home will remain locked. If you or your team intend to enter, it will require breaking them. I understand this may be done under the pretense of following orders, but I want to be clear: I will not resist violently, nor will I willingly comply. Any compliance that occurs will be under direct orders issued under duress and with a clear threat of deadly force. This is not because I agree with your actions or accept your authority in this matter, but because I am choosing the path of peaceful non-compliance—to stand firm against injustice without hatred or violence.
Men like Martin Luther King Jr., Mahatma Gandhi, and Jesus Christ taught us that standing peacefully yet firmly against tyranny can shine a light on its injustice. Turning the other cheek is not about surrender; it is about holding onto truth and dignity in the face of oppression. I want to make it clear that I am not your enemy. My fight is against injustice, institutional fraud, and oppression in all their forms, and I hope you can see that our goals may not be so different.
Should you choose to set aside your badge and come to my property as Tim Norton, I will welcome you. But if you return armed and armored, enforcing unjust actions, you will only further expose the flaws of the system you represent.
Sincerely,
Zachary Moore
