Request for Intervention: Seeking Justice and Accountability for Repeated Injuries

Dear District Attorney,

I hope this note finds you well and with at least a hint of humor left in your day. I’d like to bring to your attention a rather unfortunate series of events involving myself, Zachary Moore, and some folks here in Elbert County. While I could approach this with heavy-handed legalese, I’d rather keep things light-hearted (despite the seriousness of the situation) and hope for an outcome that restores a bit of sanity to what has become a rather distressing ordeal.

Here’s the situation: I’ve been repeatedly injured—physically, emotionally, and reputationally—by actions that I can only describe as a complete disregard for objective law. It feels like I’ve stepped into a Kafka novel, except with MRAPs and eviction notices. Let me break it down for you:

The Injuries I’ve Endured

  1. Trespassing on January 11th at 3 PM Using an MRAP

    • Yes, you read that correctly. The Elbert County Sheriff’s Office, in a show of unnecessary force, decided to roll onto my property with an MRAP. I’m not sure if they were preparing for a battle or trying to make an impression, but I can assure you, it wasn’t a welcome visit.
  2. Threatening Me by Pointing a Deadly Weapon

    • During this unnecessary show of force, I had a gun pointed at me. While I appreciate the Sheriff’s Office keeping their aim sharp, I’d much rather not be on the receiving end of their practice.
  3. Terrifying My Wife and Our 3-Week-Old Son

    • My wife, holding our newborn son, was understandably horrified by these actions. Imagine trying to console a crying infant while wondering if the next knock on the door might escalate into something even worse.
  4. Inciting Violence Through Betrayal of Objective Law

    • The inaction and continued pursuit of unjust actions against me have inspired a dangerous level of public unrest. I have documented evidence from the comments section of my blog showing how this has emboldened people to accuse me of crimes without proof or reason. This growing hostility is a direct result of the refusal to follow basic legal principles.
  5. Threatening Me and My Family Through Eviction Notices

    • The court’s eviction notice, issued without valid evidence of injury or contract, serves as a constant threat of violence against me and my family.
  6. Living in Constant Uncertainty

    • Every day, I live with the fear that my rights to life, liberty, and property will be denied at a moment’s notice. It’s like a perpetual storm cloud hanging over my head, and I’m running out of umbrellas.
  7. Forcing My Family to Relocate

    • To protect my wife and child, I’ve had to move them from our property to ensure their safety. This uprooting of our lives is a direct consequence of the threats and actions taken against us.
  8. Injuring My Reputation

    • The presumption of guilt without any proof of injury or contract has tarnished my reputation. I’m not a criminal, yet the way this has been handled makes it seem as though I’m guilty of something egregious—without a shred of evidence to back it up.

What I’m Asking For

I’m not asking for special treatment—just justice. What I would like is for your office to:

  1. Intervene Immediately

    • Halt all actions against me, including the eviction notice, until someone can provide valid evidence of injury or a legitimate contract that I supposedly breached.
  2. Investigate the Actions Taken

    • Look into the conduct of the Sheriff’s Office, the courts, and Messner Reeves to determine whether they have acted lawfully and ethically.
  3. Protect My Rights

    • Ensure that my rights to life, liberty, and property are upheld, as these are the bedrock of any legitimate legal system.
  4. Restore Sanity and Accountability

    • Hold those responsible for these unnecessary actions accountable. This includes addressing the use of excessive force, baseless threats, and the incitement of public hostility against me.

History has taught us that when those in power abandon objective law for personal or political gain, everyone suffers. There’s no peace or safety for anyone—those in charge or those affected—when principles of justice are ignored. I know you didn’t sign up for a letter like this, but here we are, and I’m hopeful you’ll see this as an opportunity to right a very obvious wrong.

I trust you’ll agree that rolling up to someone’s home with an MRAP and threatening their family without evidence of wrongdoing is not how justice is meant to work. The public is watching, and we all have a chance to set the right example.

I look forward to hearing from you soon and seeing how we can resolve this in a way that restores faith in Elbert County’s legal system.

Warm regards,
Zachary Moore
