Letter from Zach’s Wife to Sheriff’s Department
Undersheriff Fisher,
I am writing to document our conversation on January 16, 2025, regarding your intentions for eviction orders on Zach Moore and the concerns we discussed involving me and my baby.
I initiated the call to discuss your department's intentions for the eviction process. During our conversation, we clarified the date on the original eviction notice, concluding that it specified we needed to vacate by the end of the day on January 19, 2025. I expressed my concerns about attempting to move myself and my baby out of the house in snowy subzero weather, especially considering that I have a newborn baby and am still recovering from giving birth. Based on my understanding, your intention is to arrive no sooner than 11:59 pm on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, to in my opinion, unlawfully force us out of our home.
I also shared my feelings regarding the actions taken by your department the previous Saturday when delivering the eviction notice to Zach in an MRAP, armed and pointing a gun at Zach's chest (who was unarmed). Despite your stated intentions, the way this was handled terrified me. This experience alone has contributed to my decision to leave the house, as I no longer trust your department to avoid harming me, my baby, or Zach.
You reiterated your desire to resolve this situation without violence or force, and I emphasized that Zach does not intend to use violence either. You also mentioned concerns about emails and calls from Zach’s friends and discussions on his blog, which you said have led you to prioritize protecting yourself and your department. I acknowledged that everyone has the right to defend themselves, but I reiterated that Zach has not incited violence and is simply seeking support.
I also explained that while I may not agree with Zach staying behind—because, selfishly, I want him to come with me as my husband and the father of my child—I respect his free will and conviction to do what he believes is right. I am choosing to support him in the best way I can, which involves using my nurturing and caring nature to protect my family. I shared that I believe in his mission to challenge systems like fiat currency, debt, and the central banking/federal reserve. I emphasized that Zach’s intentions in this fight include helping not just our neighbors, friends, and family, but even you.
Lastly, I expressed my concern that I may not have a husband after this process because of your department’s use of excessive force during the delivery of the eviction notice last Saturday. You emphasized that your department is fulfilling orders by law, and I noted how this does not seem like it was protecting the people. It seems from our conversation that your job is done successfully when no one is injured, as you stated that you do not want anyone to be hurt in this process. By you and your department enforcing these orders, there will be injured parties – me, my baby, and Zach.
While I disagree with you and your department coming to enforce these orders, I wanted to ensure that our conversation was properly documented. Ultimately, I encourage you to do what you know is right, instead of doing what someone else tells you to do (e.g. following orders). I would be willing to discuss this further with you, should you choose to reconsider.
Sincerely,
